The
prestigious State Level Registered Women's Foundation - the STHREE SHAKTHI MAHILA PRATHISHTANA TRUST, MYSORE, had scheduled
the annual festival - PURANDARA - THYAGARAJA ARADHANE - at Mysore, on Saturday, the 29th March, 2008, in the forenoon.
Musicians of Mysore, including Vidwan R.K. Raghavan, Vidwan R.K. Padmanabhan, Vidushi Bharati, Vidushi Yadugiri, Vidushi
Mahalakshmi, Vidushi Padma Murthy, and a host of other musicians participated in the singing of Purandara and Thyagaraja krutis.
Kusuma Rama Rao, Sumana Raghunandan, Annapoorna Gopalakrishna, M.N. Yadugiri, Savitha, Parvathamma, Mandara, Jayashri,G.R.,
Mamatha Ravindra, Vasanthalakshmi and several members of Sthree Shakthi Mahila Prathishtana, participated in the group singing
of Purandara and Thyagaraja krutis.
Vidushi Padma Murthy and Vidushi Bhrati were felicitated by the President of Prathishtana - SSkt. S. Mangala Satyan.
